When it came to growing up in the country, either you loved the rustic nature of the world around you or you hated it. There were a lot of girl’s in my class that couldn’t wait to get away to college.
For me the thought of leaving what I loved behind was unthinkable.
Thankfully, we have a decent college not too far, though it felt trying over the four years, that I could attend.
Which was a blessing in a number of ways. First I could get a Farming Science Degree which made the idea of taking the family farm over one day a resonable goal. And second I met my husband Todd there.
This site it a little side project of mine since I have another hobby. And that is design. I have painted since I was small and the idea of crafting my own invitations and stationary has been a big goal of mine though it wasn’t realistic as a major. I took a number of different art courses though while in college and they furthered some of my skills.
The idea that I would someday try it as a hobby was realistic and so we started this site.
